Aluminium recycling – source of raw materials and environmental protection

Aluminium is characterised by excellent recyclability. The remelting of aluminium scrap uses only 5% of the energy that is needed initially to extract the metal from its ore. An added benefit is that the recycled material is in no way inferior in quality to such primary aluminium. Recycling therefore offers economic benefits in addition to environmental considerations.

Aluminium recycling is not only an important and economical source of raw materials for us but it also enables us to produce special alloys to satisfy our customers’ requirements. In addition, recycling is an integral part of our contribution to environmental protection.

Our remelting facilities have a total capacity of 39,000 tonnes a year.
